Abby Canucks sign Nikolai Knyzhov, Derek Daschke, Nolan Walker and Lee to one-year contracts

The Vancouver Canucks’ top farm team added a few more players for next season. On Friday, Abbotsford Canucks general manager Ryan Johnson announced that the team has signed defencemen Nikolai Knyzhov, Derek Daschke, and Jayden Lee as well as forward Nolan Walker, to one-year American Hockey League contracts for the 2025-26 season.

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Thursday the signing of defenseman Nikolai Knyzhov to a professional tryout contract. The 26-year-old Knyzhov played 10 games with the San Jose Sharks last season, going scoreless and posting a 44.3 percent even-strength corsi while averaging 17:39 of ice time.
