- Jeff Teague is a promising young point guard, who is now the proud owner of a new 32 million dollar contract. Teague is a strong scorer and a solid distributor, but with Josh Smith now in Detroit, he must become the second scoring option on this team. Every year he has improved and this needs to be the year that he puts himself in the company of the other second class of point guards in the NBA, like Ty Lawson, Jrue Holiday and Mike Conley. Teague is an efficient scorer and shooter, but the new test will be if the increased shot attempts that are to come, will cause that efficiency to drop.
