We found out in the latest Discover Fan Loyalty Poll that most people are comfortable wagering against friends or family members – including their spouses – as well as what they are most willing to give up for one month if their favorite college football team does not come through for them. While many people may have lost some friendly wagers with the first loss of 2012 by the Alabama Crimson Tide, it is still too early to bet against Alabama as they look to get back to the BCS Championship Game.
Simply put, the Tide can still change for Alabama.
Aside from the shameless pun, the Crimson Tide are far from being out of the national championship discussions. One loss certainly has them on the outside looking in right now. They will likely fall to No. 4, behind the other three top undefeated teams – the Kansas State Wildcats, Oregon Ducks and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. But they are far from out of BCS contention this season.
Before we get to that, take a look at the latest results from...

As the Alabama Crimson Tide face off against Texas A&M today, it appears that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is making himself into a notable name in college football.
As A&M took a large lead in the first half over the number one ranked team in the nation, Manziel turned in this magic trick as he bobbles a snap from his center but recovers it on a scramble....
This Bama bro lost his mind while playing a friendly game of Call Of Duty on Saturday night. The most surprising part of this video isn’t the blow-up itself, it’s the fact that a Bama bro was multitasking during crunch time of the Crimson Tide game. Isn’t Alabama supposed to be one of the most passionate fan-bases in the country? How can you possibly play Call Of Duty with...
After being upset by Texas A&M this weekend, the Crimson Tide has dropped to No. 4 in the newest BCS standings. However, if chaos ensues a la 2011, Alabama could still take a trip to Miami in January.
Nick Saban puts Alabama's past two games in the same category. He doesn't mean it as a compliment.
The fourth-ranked Crimson Tide lost for the first time against No. 9 Texas A&M a week after barely beating No. 8 LSU.
Saban says Alabama didn't play well as a team in either game. Saban called it ''a Bluegrass Miracle phenomenon.'' That reference is...
The Alabama Crimson Tide were down 29 to 24 needing a touchdown to win. AJ McCarron threw up a bomb to a wide open Kenny Bell to put them in a position for a possible game winning score against the Texas A&M Aggies and Johnny “Football” Manziel. Once in the read zone, Texas A&M held the Alabama Crimson Tide to 4th and goal where AJ McCarron was picked off in the red zone...
Despite losing its first game over the weekend, the Crimson Tide still has much to play for. There are two regular season games left and likely and SEC championship game...and maybe even another national title.
After an emotional win in Death Valley last week, the Crimson Tide has a quick turnaround this week when they host Johnny Manziel and the SEC's best offense--Texas A&M.
Five Alabama players were recognized by the coaching staff for their outstanding performances following Saturday’s game against Texas A&M. Amari Cooper and Eddie Lacy were named players of the week on offense while John Fulton and C.J. Mosley represented the defense. On special teams, Cody Mandell was selected.
Cooper recorded a game-high 136 yards on six catches with one...
The GoodThe A&M OffenseLet me just preface this article by saying at about 10:20 Saturday morning I e-mailed my good buddy Matt who also is as big a college football fan as I am stating Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M would beat Alabama outright. I still have the text if you think I’m lying. Manziel has been the most exciting freshman at any position in college football...
Everyone in the Alabama football camp is looking ahead, not back at the loss to Texas A&M that ended the Crimson Tide’s chance at an undefeated season. But it’s hard to forget that Bama basically eschewed the use of a powerful weapon when the Tide had first and goal at the Aggies six-yard line with four minutes to play and down five points.
Josh McNeil has seldom wavered on his commitment to Alabama, but a weekend official visit to Tuscaloosa closed most of the gap between looking around and signing his letter of intent to play for the Crimson Tide. He had some fun in the process.
During his weekly Monday press conference, Alabama head coach Nick Saban discussed how his team will regroup after loss to Texas A&M, AJ McCarron's performance over the last two games and more...
