The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are currently destroying the San Diego State Aztecs and they are loving every minute of it. They have been playing with a ton of emotion and it showed on the sidelines when a couple players started to do the chicken dance on the sideline. This win over the Aztecs would make FGCU the first 15 seed to win two games in a single NCAA tournament. Gotta love March Madness.

Florida Gulf Coast throws down two massive dunks against San Diego State, one alley-oop and one full-on posterization.
After an impressive victory over the San Diego State Aztecs, Florida Gulf Coast’s Sherwood Brown went through and shook the announcers hands again. Might as well keep the same routine, with how the Eagles are rolling they shouldn’t change a single thing.
Where did these guys come from?
Florida Gulf Coast continued to wow the college basketball world on Sunday, posterizing the Aztecs with its high-flying “Dunk City” style of play that has already inspired an amateur rap song.

The Aztecs, like the Hoyas two nights earlier, could only watch Florida Gulf Coast celebrate an upset win at the NCAA tournament. This was an historic one - the 81-71 victory made the Eagles the first No. 15 seed to reach the NCAA tournament's round of 16.
And just like in FGCU's win over second-seeded Georgetown, it was...

With their 81-71 win over San Diego State on Sunday, Florida Gulf Coast University became the first ever #15 seed to make it to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament. In past tournaments there have been some low seed upsets that are just tournament flukes. Not the case for FGCU. This team is for real. With the way they’re playing, they could become the first #15 seed in the...
It is not only Florida Gulf Coast tossing alley-oops; San Diego State’s Jamaal Franklin had this one one-handed flush today against FGCU.
Franklin also had this off-the-backboard flush earlier this year.
Florida Gulf Coast went a little crazy in its celebration after beating San Diego State 81-71 Sunday to reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. At this point, the grouchy types would tell them to “act like they’ve been there before.” But how can you blame them? They became the first 15 seed to ever reach the Sweet 16, and they celebrated accordingly. These dudes were running...
San Diego State football capped off spring camp with their annual spring game, as Red (second team) upset Black (first team) 13-10. Progress has been made, setting the Aztecs up well for fall camp and next season. Position battles remain heated at the No. 2 running back spot, cornerbacks, tight end and along the offensive line...
