For Brian Crashman, the man who traded Jesus and said no to Johnny, running the Yankees must be a tedious, boring nightmare

If Brian Cashman was a player, the Yankees would have traded him by now. One too many back page headlines, and one too many disastrous deals. And Monday would have been the final straw.  The guy who questioned Joba Chamberlain’s decision to jump on a trampoline with his son just snapped his leg like Joe Theisman while leaping from a plane. The guy who said no to a second act of Johnny Damon said let’s do it again from 10,000 feet, and now, for the rest of his life, airport metal detectors will buzz when he walks through. For the next month, Cashman will be so stoned on pain-killers that he thinks Danny Tartabull is playing right field. And for what reason?  So he can impress the Army-endorsed social debutantes of Tampa with his manhood?OK, it was for charity, I get that. But you can collect bottles for charity.
