By now you've seen that horrendous first pitch attempt by K-Pop singing sensation Tiffany, right? Well, in case you haven't...here it is. Turns out, fellow Korean import, Hyun-jin Ryu is jealous of Tiffany, but, obviously, not her pitching mechanics. According to this random fansite dedicated to Tiffany's pop singing group Girls' Generation (don't ask), the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher is jealous of her English skills. "How is it here?" the pop star asked Ryu. "It would be so much better if I could just speak [English]," he answered.  "I′m jealous of you...you′re good at English." But, here's the rub...Tiffany (real name Stephanie Hwang) was born in San Francisco.  Sure, she ended up in Korea, but she didn't land there until high school. Honestly, I don't care who speaks what, because there's no way anyone but Ryu could get Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw to go all "Gangnam Style".  Fact.

6 Days Of Dee Gordon

In six short days with the team in 2013, Dee Gordon has already showcased everything that once made him a top prospect and everything that made him one of the worst players in the MLB last year. It’s a tiny sample, yet he’s managed to fit in so much amazement and failure that his performance has noteworthy, regardless. In a way, he’s proven both his supporters and detractors...

Dodgers on a long losing streak…but is help on the way?

Well, keeping up with the blog has proved difficult the last couple of weeks.  By all appearances, the Dodgers offense appears to be having similar success. It’s time for direct intervention.  The last time the Dodgers won was a week ago on Hanley Ramirez Bobblehead Night at Chavez Ravine when this writer was in attendance.  After last night’s 9-2 beat-down to the Arizona...

Topps Can't Get it Right

Given his early successes so far this season, it's probably a pretty safe bet that Hyun-jin Ryu's rookie card will be a hot ticket item. (image courtesy of @mykbo) It's an easy mistake to make, right?  I mean, just...
