Been hearing a lot of talk lately about how the father of Jahlil Okafor is not so sure about the Duke Blue Devils, and how the elder Okafor is leaning more towards head coach Bill Self’s squad. It is not uncommon for disagreements to occur when we are talking about big time basketball, and I would expect Jahlil to come to a decision in the next two weeks. Thanks to the tweet below for the heads up. The package recruiting deal between him and Tyus Jones appears to still be in action though, so fans of these two need not panic. Watching them play together at the college basketball level will be amazing to watch, and almost wish I could preset my DVR to ensure I don’t miss it. (Just joking.) We initially heard these two would decide in early November but then word came out about the disagreement and it appears they both want time to consider their options.
