Oregon State heavyweight Clayton Jack is headed to WWE developmental. The Beavers' announced Jack's signing on the university's athletics website. Jack, a former All-American who compiled a 121-37 record, signed a three-year deal with WWE, and he's headed to NXT in Tampa. He starts January 24.  Jim Ross called Jack "a big kid with a wonderful, outgoing, positive personality who has the chance to be a top hand if he is willing to put in the time and work to make it happen." "As a rule," Ross wrote on his website, "hard work doesn't scare off amateur wrestlers especially those with collegiate experience." "I am just really excited for the opportunity to work with the WWE," Jack told the OSU website. "As far as goals go, I just want to learn as much as possible. Hopefully if I do well in the three years, maybe I can get an NXT title or move up to the WWE." Jack grew up a fan in the Attitude Era and already has an idea for his character.    "I wouldn't mind playing the heel, which is the bad guy," Jack says. "When you first start out you are always kind of the heel and then you work your way into being a face, which is a good guy. As much as I want to say it's based on my personality, it's also based on how well I can act." Wrestling legend Gerry Brisco recruited Jack.
