Waiting For Next Year:
There is not much more to say about Kyrie Irving and the week he has had. Forty points in a win over the Boston Celtics, All-Star, 2012 Cleveland Sports Professional Athlete of the Year, 35 more points against the Bucks and this — a game-winning three with 0.7 seconds remaining in Toronto, marking another double-digit comeback win.
Kyrie Irving. So casual, so lethal.

The Boston Celtics swiped a double-overtime win over the Miami Heat without Rajon Rondo on Sunday, but the knee injury that led to Rondo's absence -- and the fact that it'll keep him sidelined for the remainder of the season -- could be a precursor for disaster, a harbinger for change or both for a team already in danger of missing the postseason for the first time since...
The Celtics couldn’t buy a bucket from outside during their loss to the Knicks on Thursday, and outside shooting is something the C’s could stand to improve. Danny Ainge just might have a solution in mind. ESPN’s Marc Stein tweeted on Friday morning that he’s hearing the Celtics are “ramping up their interest” in Magic guard J.J. Redick. Stein reports that he heard this...

There are varying degrees of ACL tears… from partial tears to all out, Derrick...

Kevin Garnett: 24 Points, 11 Rebounds
KG had another great game today, as per usual against the Heat. He was a presence down low, and really carried a major load for the Celtics offensively. He rebounded well, and played his normal stellar defense. He came up...
BOSTON -- On the day the Boston Celtics learned they have lost Rajon Rondo for the season to a knee injury, they ended their six-game losing streak in dramatic fashion, with a 100-98 double-overtime victory over the Miami Heat Sunday. There are a couple of points I would like to hit on before I dive into this glorious trade you see above. Over the past few days many Celtics’ bloggers have written various articles saying that Jeff Green needs to be inserted into the starting lineup over Paul Pierce. That it would allow Green to run with Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley while allowing Pierce to a primary scorer...
