Rumors and Rants:
On Wednesday the WBO completed its review of Timothy Bradley’s controversial split-decision win over Manny Pacquiao from June 9. A panel of five international judges re-watched the fight and scored it. The results showed what we all already knew: Pacquiao won the fight.
On the night in question, judges Duane Ford and C.J. Ross both had Bradley winning 115-113, while Jerry Roth scored it 115-113 for Pacquiao. The WBO’s panel of judges – who are all said to be accomplished with world title experience – disagreed with that June 9 ruling.
The judges, whose names were not disclosed, all gave the fight to Pacquiao and their scores were: 118-110, 117-111, 117-111, 116-112, 115-113.
HBO’s broadcasters and virtually every member of the media at ringside had Pacquiao clearly winning the fight and the crowd roundly booed the decision. I scored the fight 117-111 for Pacquiao but thought I was being kind to Bradley by giving him three rounds.

The WBO had it’s review on the controversial Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight over a week ago. As expected, they say that Pacquiao won the fight. It doesn’t seem like Bradley will give his belt back to Pacquiao, although that would be the right thing to do, but Pacquiao will do a rematch anyways with him.

I still contend that Manny Pacquiao was in on the fix. The 33 year old fighter only has a few good years left, and without the Floyd Mayweather bout in his future he had nothing to sell. His last few fights have been dogs. Interesting is dropping, quickly. His fight against Timothy Bradley didn’t sell [...]

Believe me, it pains me in the gizzard to speak negatively of any stab at boxing reform, especially one as near and dear to my heart as the establishment of a national commission. But the Professional Boxing Amendments Act of 2012 is not the immediate answer to boxing's long-standing need for sanity.
