After 18 big league bouts, Michael Bisping (Pictured) was convinced it was finally time for him to fight for a UFC crown. However, after eating Vitor Belfort’s left shin on Saturday night, Bisping dropped to 0-3 in title eliminators.  Despite his latest setback, the 33-year-old promised he’ll climb his way back up the totem pole and eventually wrap the strap around his waist. “You win some, you lose some. I am not going away,” Bisping stated during his in-Octagon post-fight interview. “Trust me, I’m gonna be back. I’ll be back at the top of this pile before you [expletive] know it.” Bisping initially missed out on a chance at reigning champ Anderson Silva’s hardware when Dan Henderson put him to sleep in highlight reel fashion at UFC 100. “The Count” then worked his way back up the ladder, but dropped a decision to Chael Sonnen last January that cost him another championship affair. After beating Brian Stann in September, UFC president Dana White promised Bisping next dibs if he beat Belfort on Saturday. Unfortunately for the Brit, things didn’t go according to plan. White wasn’t in Brazil, so no word on where this loss puts Bisping. However, White dubbed Kenny Florian and Nate Marquardt “chokers” for constantly losing their respective title and title eliminator fights.
