There is certainly no love lost between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen, and Silva's most recent comments about the trash-talking Sonnen will only add fuel to the fire.
Anderson Silva doesn't want to just beat Chael Sonnen at UFC 148. He wants to severely hurt Sonnen. Silva expressed such through a translator during a media conference call on Monday, vowing to break Sonnen's face and every one of his teeth. "What I'm going to do inside the octagon is something that's going to change the image of the sport," Silva said....
Reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and bitter rival and number one contender Chael Sonnen have long been known as two of the most colorful characters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization. But that has been taken to a whole new level in a special comic strip which will countdown to the UFC 148 main event between the two bitter rivals.

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has typically took a back seat to Chael Sonnen in the verbal sparring over the past two years of their rivalry. During a media call on Monday for the event Silva verbally explodes on Sonnen unlike he has ever done while in the UFC. Is this...
Chael Sonnen is the biggest trash talker in MMA, and probably the biggest in all of sports. Sometimes his smack is done in jest, or to hype a fight, and other times probably because that’s just who he is.

Anderson Silva had a lot to say about Chael Sonnen’s well being heading into UFC 148. Camel Clutch ran down the run down:
- “First of all, Chael is a criminal,” Silva said. “He’s been convicted of...

The Olympic flame might be ending its four-summer hiatus in a few weeks, but Chael Sonnen (Pictured) claims this year’s games can’t hold a candle to UFC 148. The chatty challenger rematches middleweight king Anderson Silva in the show’s featured attraction.
“This is the biggest sporting event of the summer, and for a reason,” Sonnen professed during Monday’s conference...
The latest UFC 148 promo reminds us that Anderson Silva is not in the mood to f**k around. He's taken verbal and physical abuse from Chael Sonnen for the last two years, and on July 7th in Las Vegas, he will be ready to show the world why his name is synonymous with the phrase "greatest of all time".
UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II coverage
In combat sports, great champions tend to be defined by their rivals. In MMA, the one exception had been Anderson Silva -- for quite some time. The middleweight champion had been without peers in the division; the most anyone can claim to have done against him is taken a round up until UFC 117. Silva was dominant in a way that no champion in the UFC has been since; no one seemed...
