Chael Sonnen will get his wish. No, not the one to fight Wanderlei Silva or the one to fight Vitor Belfort. Instead, he's been granted the opportunity to fight at the UFC's 20th anniversary show, UFC 167 , where he will take on Rashad Evans in the co-main event.
On Wednesday, both fighters confirmed they have verbally accepted the match.
The fellow FOX Sports analysts are friends, but said they would have no problem putting their relationship aside to compete against each other at what is likely to be the UFC's biggest even of the 2013 calendar. The show takes place on Nov. 16 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
