It’s over. Danica Patrick will not run the Indianapolis 500 this season. News came after the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway was added to her 2012 Sprint Cup schedule. According to ESPN the former Indy car driver stated “I’m not going to do the Indy 500… I  hope to do it in the future. Maybe it’ll be a double. But at this point in time, after a lot of conversations, it’s just going to be the Coke 600. It’s going to be a big challenge.” The Coca-Cola 600 will be one of a haldful of Sprint Cup races that Danica run will run for Stewart-Hass Racing in addition to her full season of Nationwide series races for JR Motorsprots. According to Patrick the decision for her to run the Sprint Cup race was a business decision,
