Some great action from the Timberwolves vs. Portland Trail Blazers game last night. Forward Nicolas Batum provided us with the blooper of the night as he pulled off one of the best dunks in the NBA this year. That wasn't allowed. LOL

Also this week possibly one of the best dunks of the year in the NBA.

J.J. Hickson's amazing dunk over Jordan vs Clippers.

Blazer's dunk waived off after bouncing off head

Last night, Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum provided us with the blooper of the night as he pulled off one of the rare feats in basketball. In the second quarter, Batum appeared to have an uncontested dunk but somehow dunked the ball off his own head and the basket was waived off due to interference:

Luke Babbitt re-discovering his game and confidence for Trail Blazers

For his first season and a half in the NBA, Luke Babbitt struggled to find the court for the Trail Blazers, seeing more court time in the NBDL than with Portland. Even when he did get playing time, Babbitt seemed hesitant to shoot the ball, and was largely thinking instead of reacting when on the court. Many, including myself, had doubts about his long-term fit in the league, and...

State Of The Trailblazers: Weekly Notebook April 2nd

Blazers All Access The silver lining for Portland fans is that twenty-six days from now, the misery that has been the Portland Trail Blazers 2011-12 season will officially come to an end.  The sad thing is, that means there are still fourteen games left to sit through before the rebuilding of the once proud franchise can take its first step. Unfortunately for fans, we have had...

Trail Blazers need to give Flynn the backup minutes at point guard

While the Blazers odds for reaching the playoffs this season looking slim (currently 3 GB of Houston for the 8th seed), the emergence of Jonny Flynn has been one of the bright spots. In his past four games (including tonight's game against the Timberwolves), Flynn has displayed the quickness that made him the #6 overall pick in the 2009 draft. Flynn was considered more of a...

JJ Hickson Puts DeAndre Jordan On A Poster

Since the Trail Blazers picked up J.J. Hickson on Waivers last month he’s been on a hot streak with over 15 points and six rebounds per game while shooting over 65% from the field. Apparently DeAndre Jordan from the Clippers wasn’t impressed by those numbers so J.J. decided to deliver something a little more personal.     var conf_38368 = { APIKey: '2_N1YlfjHIEAtyRAK3CAYRE5a1aBuA...

Limping Wolves no match for bolstered Blazers

Just a game away from the season sweep of the Trail Blazers, the Timberwolves faltered on Sunday night in Portland, and really, it was no surprise. After defeating Portland 122-10 on March 3 and 106-94 on March 7, the Timberwolves fell 119-106 in their final meeting with the Trail Blazers, but the two teams that faced off Sunday night were a far cry from those competing just three...

Bellybuster, Part 8: “A Dish Best Served Cold”

Eighth in a series of installments documenting my failed political ambitions, my warped sensibilities, and my Portland Trail Blazers.     Oh yes - this is the Queen's land indeed, these beautiful Caribbean cays, and has been since the late 17th century. You didn't know? Originally claimed by Spain by Christopher Columbus himself, the Caymans remained relatively uninhabited...
