In the concluding piece of our Generations series, we take a look at Big Red, Dave Cowens, and Big Ticket, Kevin Garnett - Celtics brothers born in different eras but cut from the same cloth. Both represented the spirit of their teams, often igniting the fire that stoked the C's soul. They are the leaders their teammates looked up to and relied upon - both on the court and off of it - to help carry them to victory, night-in, night-out.
Here, #18 and #5 lean on each other, drawing on the other's strength, like only two brothers can. Such is the brotherhood we've come to know as the Boston Celtics. Such is the spirit behind it all, Generation to Generation.

NO RUN FOR THE BORDER
According to the man himself, there is no truth to the rumors that Shaquille O'Neal will be playing games in a Mexican basketball league next month.
Rajon Rondo appeared on BET's 106 and Park tonight to talk about his career, the future, and interning for GQ during New York Fashion Week. Above is the video for the whole episode, so you have to skip to about 21 minutes into the video to get to Rondo's part.
Below is a 3 minute back-stage interview with Rondo:

Fabricio Paulino de Melo, better known as Fab, was selected by the Celtics with the 22nd pick in the draft. His game is very raw and he is definitely going to be a project. He just started playing basketball 3 or 4 years ago, and spent just 2 years at Syracuse...
The Celtics have released a photo on instagram of the new plates that will go on the Celtics lockers this season. The season is getting closer and closer. I'm getting more and more excited for it to start. A neat feature of the locker plates is that they feature the names of all the Celtics that wore the numbers before. I love that they put the former players on the nameplates...
Jason Terry has settled into his new home and "The Jet" is ready for takeoff. Terry, who signed as a free agent with the Celtics this summer, provided fans with a video tour of his new place in Weston, Mass. In the video, produced by Reebok, Terry assigns a place for some artwork above his mantel and designates a spot for the all-important ping-pong table. He also sits...
Everyone, not just Celtics fans, have been concerned about Bill Russell since news of his heart procedure came out. Today, NBA.com posted an interview with the Celtics legend where he addresses the procedure and the state of his health, his Mentors' Golf Challenge, Team USA's performance in London, Ray Allen's departure, Jeremy Lin and much more.
I don't usually post a lot of videos, and now two in a row. But, a picture is worth a thousand words. So, here is Reebok's video catching up to Jason Terry as he lands in Boston with his family and shows us his new home. Every time I hear Jason talk, I get excited. He's so excited to be a Celtic and when he talks about his intensity for the game mixed with KG's...
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Meanwhile, the player who Barnes would essentially be replacing, Martin, remains unemployed despite his reputation as a tenacious defender and enforcer. He’s the sort of veteran that could come in handy for any...
The top two seeds have advanced again but today’s matchup might be a bit closer than the other two. These two plays by Rajon Rondo were huge at different points during the playoffs, but both were clutch in different ways. Keep in mind on the #14 seed, you’re voting for Rondo’s clutch three-pointer ONLY vs Philly, not the entire compilation. I just didn’t make a new...

Kevin Garnett says he will retire as a Celtic.credit: img.ibtimes.com
Kevin Garnett has only played for two NBA teams during his lengthy career; the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Boston Celtics. He won his only championship with the Celtics, and it seems as if he has no plans of leaving.
The 36-year-old KG proved in the playoffs that he could still be a major part of a championship...
The Brooklyn Nets unveiled their new basketball court this week and they're taking a page out of Boston's playbook with a herringbone pattern. Here's the Nets' CEO, Brett Yormark, on the court design:
"The vision all along was to have something that was truly identifiable and unique and when people turned on their TVs at home, know they were in Brooklyn,"...
