It normally takes the entire UN translating staff to understand Delonte West’s tweets. Most of them are a combination of gibberish, ebonics and misspelled words. For example: “U in d city tonight….if u see matt grey street glider…with black ape hangers 21 inch blackspokess…..tail pipes dragginn.” If you know what that means, I’m not sure whether that means you’re a lot more intelligent than I am, or a lot less. But the past two days, Delonte West tweeted some realities of NBA lockout life.Full disclosure: I have no idea whether West is serious, ever. He got a job moving furniture earlier in the lockout, claiming he needed the money. But I have no clue whether he was serious about needing money. He’s just a quirky dude. It’s entirely possible he got that job as a joke, or he signed some secretive endorsement deal with Regency Furniture where he pretended to work there. But he’s tweeting realities, even if they aren’t his own realities. I know NBA players made an average of $5 million la

During a recent interview with Robin Roberts, Shaquille O'Neal discussed his cheating on now-ex-wife Shaunie and the explanation/justification he provided was most interesting.
According to Media Take Out, former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal has gotten married to his reality TV star fiance Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander.A source told the website that the two DIDN'T PLAN ON A BIG WEDDING, nor did they tell ANYONE about what they were about to do. They instead, went and GOT MARRIED.The source also claims that O'Neal DIDN'T SIGN A PRENUP before...
Delonte West is one crazy ass dude, but this idea is pure Genius. I mean think about it for a second. They're already one of the most known companies in the world and their slogan fits perfectly. "Just do it." I mean why would they not do this? Every young guy in the freaking world would drop a couple extra pennies to have a Nike check on their condom...
I’m not quite sure what to say about this one. There’s no basketball so Delonte is obviously finding a way to keep himself relevant.
The Nike slogan, “Just Do It”, means many things depending on where your mind’s at, and Delonte thinks that it would be a brilliant idea to combine the popular slogan with condoms.
There are two ways to look at this. For one, Nike making...
Professional basketball players, including Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce, will compete in Boston Saturday night. Of course, they’ll play at Harvard, neither team will play any defense, who wins or loses won’t matter, the NBA lockout continues indefinitely, and seeing Jeff Green and Kendrick Perkins on the same court will only conjure vicious memories.Do I sound bitter? That’s...
Elite 8 2004. Tony Allen and Oklahoma State face off against Delonte West and St. Joe's. Both players would go on to be drafted by The Celtics in the 1st Round.
Rajon Rondo posted this silly picture on his Facebook page.
I figured it was perfect for a caption contest.
Allen Iverson probably would like to play for numerous teams, but the question begs do any of these teams have interest in him? The answer for the most part is “no”, but you only need one to say “yes”.
The NBA Lockout isn’t benefiting him because if they season is canceled he only becomes a year older and if the season does start teams will prefer to go with players...
Jokes about Nike’s slogan are nothing new. Anyone who is above the age of 12 that hasn’t heard an off-color comment that’s related to “Just Do It” must be living in an extremely remote area of the country. Sex jokes are associated with Nike’s tag line all the time, and I’m sure the people at [...]
Rajon Rondo and some of his NBA buddies will be hooping at Harvard Universsity this weekend. Reports the Boston Globe: “Celtics guard Rajon Rondo announced yesterday he is hosting a charity game Saturday featuring NBA players, including teammate Paul Pierce and two-time league scoring champion Kevin Durant. ‘The Boston Charity Classic’ will take place at 6 p.m. at Lavietes...
Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh is brushing off harsh criticism in Shaquille O'Neal's new book, “Shaq Uncut: My Story.”
O’Neal says Bosh has achieved stardom without earning it, is more about numbers than winning, and “is not an elite player.”
“I know the thing is entertainment,” Bosh told the Sun-Sentinel. “How are you going to get people to buy your book...
(As the NBA remains shuttered, only now are the actual losses of games becoming real. To that end, we will offer a look on each scheduled game day of what would have been in play for the Miami Heat had they actually been playing.)
The schedule: The Heat were scheduled to play Wednesday night at AmericanAirlines Arena against the Boston Celtics at 8 p.m., in a game that had been...
