Kevin Garnett a Denver Nugget?! I wouldn't bet on it.
The rumor wheel began swirling again earlier today when a report came out from the Denver Post saying that the Nuggets were asking about the availability of Kevin Garnett.
Mark Kizla of the post seemed to insinuate that it was almost a done deal that Garnett would be shipped out of Boston. Not so fast. That same report also says Garnett would not waive his no trade clause to go to Denver.
Earlier today, Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski and voiced his thoughts on the numerous KG trade rumors on 98.5 The Sports Hub's Felger and Mazz. Woj says Garnett probably isn't heading anywhere and when Woj talks, I usually listen.
As Woj points out, it's unlikely KG waives his trade clause for just about anywhere. He also points out that it would probably take trading Paul Pierce for him to waive it, and also that it's not like teams are going to be offering up very much for aging stars. As we've said repeatedly o...

Following a big 116-95 win over the Lakers in which he became the 16th player in NBA history to eclipse 25,000 career points, Kevin Garnett sounded off on the recent trade rumors swirling around him – being brutally honest as usual. The Denver Nuggets have a glaring need for a real presence in the post. Kevin Garnett, though a year older and slower, would definitely fill that need. According to the Denver Post, the Nuggets have reached out to the Celtics to try to strike a deal to bring Garnett to Denver, but there’s one problem. Garnett doesn’t want any part of a trade that would send him to Denver.
Kevin Garnett leads the Celtics past the revamped Raptors 99-95 to extend the winning streak to five.
Toronto was a part of the only blockbuster trade that’s gone down so far this season and they acquired the best player in the deal in Rudy Gay.
Gay and Demar DeRozan did not waste any time in this game as the high-flying wings scored the Raptors first 10 points. Kevin Garnett...

With the Clippers in Boston this weekend, Danny Ainge likely had a chance to talk face-to-face with Clippers brass. And the Clippers likely had the chance to inquire whether the Celtics might be interested in breaking up their core and improve their team firsthand.
The rumor began filtering out shortly after Sunday's game between Los Angeles and Boston that the Clippers were...
I do not want to highlight one player in tonight’s win, as this was truly one of the Celtics best team efforts of the year. In direct opposition to what I just said, the only player I do want to highlight is Kevin Garnett, who got his 25,000th point tonight with a fade-away jumper. His response? Thanking all the people who helped him get there and finished with a “it’s...
