#Celtics guard Rajon Rondo gave mostly short, glum answers to media after tonight's win. Perhaps it's just a case of Montezuma's revenge.

The Boston point guard is getting some grief from the local media for his post game interview last night:
While I understand how it could be frustrating to have your questions answered in such a manner, it is pretty hilarious to watch. In particular his interaction with CSNNE's Jessica Camerato at the 30 second mark really cracked me up:
"How long did it take you to find your rhythm after being out the last two games?"
"Like two seconds."
"That's pretty quick... you time it?"
Hysterical. Thanks to WEEI's Ben Rohrbach for the clip.

“I went to Mexico for a couple of days and watched the games,” a straightfaced Rondo said. “Why not?”

Rajon Rondo and a few of hid Celtics teammates (Rondo and Chris Wilcox pictured below) were at the House of Blues Tuesday night for the 2 Chainz concert. Someone found his driver's license at the concert and posted a pic of it on Facebook. No truth to the rumor they are trying to trade it back to Rondo for some nail polish.
Thanks Ryan for the tip.

Rondo, who missed two games after jousting with the Nets’ Kris Humphries, provided the Celtics with an offensive spark, but didn’t care to elaborate much on his night. Here’s a sampling of the back-and-forth...
Rajon Rondo returned to practice with the Boston Celtics on Monday following his two-game suspension for a fight with Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries last week. The Celtics won one game and lost the other without their starting point guard, but failed to crack the 100-point mark in either contest. Rondo is happy to be back with his teammates, but that doesn’t mean he was miserable...
Rajon Rondo came back form a two-game suspension to lead the Celtics over the Timberwolves with his 14th double-double of the night, recording 17 points and 11 assists. While there is a lot to talk about the Celtics’ PG, he didn’t have much to say after the game. Doc Rivers had a lot more to [...]
After serving a 2-game suspension for getting into a ‘shoving match’ with Nets forward Kris Humphries last Wednesday, Rajon Rondo is excited to return to the court with his team. While he was impressed with the ball movement while he was out, the Celtics sure missed him Saturday night as they scored the first 17 points of the game only to lose to the Bucks 91-88. Rondo said that...

As matters couldn’t get any worse after the horrific loss in Milwaukee–it does. Coincidentally, Rajon Rondo took his talents to Mexico during his two-game suspension.

Clock ticking for Lee?
There are several stories kicking around the Boston news wire today about Courtney Lee; how Doc recently told him to be more aggressive on offense, and how he shined as a starter the past two games with Rajon Rondo suspended. Lee averaged 11.5 points, 5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals against Portland and Milwaukee over the weekend. Solid numbers...
COLUMBIA, Md. — The Boston Celtics received a lift on the court with the return of Rajon Rondo from his 2-game suspension. Before the game, they got one off it. Avery Bradley announced that he’s a mere week or two away from practicing. Good news comes in threes. Boston (10-8) picked up their 10th win [...]
PHILADELPHIA -- Rajon Rondo picked up another triple-double, but the Philadelphia 76ers picked up the win. Evan Turner, despite missing nine of his previous 10 shots, swished a 13-foot jumper with 3.9 seconds left in overtime to lift the Sixers past the Boston Celtics, 95-94, Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center. "I was just trying to get to my sweet spot on the court...

BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics welcomed Rajon Rondo back from his two-game suspension Wednesday night, the point guard helping his team turn in an impressive second-half performance in a 104-94 victory the Minnesota Timberwolves. Rondo, booted for two games by the NBA for starting the fracas with Kris Humphries and the Nets last week, scored 17 points (13 in the second half) and...
Kevin Garnett talks rebounding and the return of Rajon Rondo. More videos to come.
It's been eight days, and three games, since Doc Rivers called his team soft following their rather embarrassing loss at home against the Nets. Since then the team is 2-1, beating the Blazers by 18, losing in Milwaukee by 3 (both of these games without Rajon Rondo) and then beating the Timberwolves by 10 last night. More than just the results though, the team has played differently...
The Celtics played their first game in five days as the Minnesota Timberwolves came to the TD Garden. This marked the first return of Greg Stiemsma coming back to Boston. While he wasn't the most important player last year, "Steamboat" quickly became a fan and team favorite due to his hard work and shot blocking ability. The night also marked the return of Rajon Rondo...
