Bob's Blitz :
Celtics guard Rajon Rondo has a touch of the OCD. Here's his pre-game routine:
His routine is long-winded and it lasts all the way through tip-off. It starts in the back hallway. He runs down a...

BEST OF MAXIM
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Rajon Rondo dropped his 26th career triple-double last night with 17 pts, 12 assists & 10 boards in Boston’s 100-89 win over Charlotte. At first glance, they appeared to be the Nike Hyperdunk. Turns out he...
I’m a blogger, so I have opinions on things that I don’t actually understand like advertising and commercials. Here are my thoughts:Positives:It’s Rajon Rondo. The whole “athletes wearing their uniforms to work” thing has always slayed me, for whatever reason.Steve Levy calling John Anderson “dude” is inexplicably funny to me too.Rondo’s double-take as Anderson is...
Another triple double for Rajon Rondo last night as he finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists. Here are the full highlights courtesy of OfficialCelticsHD.

Take note - You should NOT look down if you ever shake Rajon Rondo's hand.
John Anderson had to learn this lesson the hard way. Rondo's hands will consume you and make you feel like less of a man.
While we enjoy ridiculing ESPN here on a regular basis (who doesn't?), we have to admit that their "This is SportsCenter" commercials are a constant source...
Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo has really, really big hands. That is the message received after watching the latest "This is SportsCenter" commercial. After holding a team meeting, the SportsCenter crew makes it a point to shake Rondo's hands as they leave. Anchor Steve Levy advises colleague John Anderson not to look down when he shakes Rondo's hands. He...
Rajon Rondo was a man on a mission last night as he powered the C's to a 100-89 win over the Bobcats with 17 points, 10 boards and 12 dimes - his third triple-double of the season and 26th of his career (including playoffs). Rondo's 26 triple-doubles ranks fourth among active players - behind only Jason Kidd (107), LeBron (41) and Grant Hill (29).
At the pace at which...
Rajon Rondo and Kevin garnett were both on pace to start the All-Star game with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony. Rondo is basically assured of the spot, but KG was in a tight race with Chris Bosh. Would suck for Rondo to have to start with 3 Heat players and Carmelo Anthony. Hopefully Celtics fans voted a ton these final days and got KG the nod.

(h/t to WEEI’s Ben Rohrbach for the video)This was a typical Rondo post-game interview, with perhaps a little more sass, and there was certainly no smiling. It seems like he is constantly trying to make reporters uncomfortable in a long standing power struggle between players and the media. Mix some orneriness, with a dash of irritability, and sprinkle some justified and unjustified...
Rajon Rondo stars in the new “This Is SportsCenter” commercial where his big hands are the talk of the office:
Here we see MKG and Rondo in a push-up contest. MKG was the winner, completing 103 push-ups.
Recently the Bobcats effort has been...lacking to say the least. But have no fear! Up until this point, the Cats are 1-0 when I write the recap. You're welcome guys. Would the Bobcats come out of the Garden with a W? Keep reading to find out...
Congratulations to Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett for being voted in by the fans as starters. Between KG and Melo in the frontcourt and Dwyane Wade and Rondo in the back court, this may be one...

Tomorrow night at 7 p.m the Boston Celtics will take on the Chicago Bulls at the TD Garden. After the loss to New Orleans on Wednesday, Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett are going to try to show the world why they were voted All-Stars during the prime-time exhibition game.
The loss versus New Orleans broke the Celtics 5 game winning steak, so Doc Rivers...
The Celtics don’t blow bad teams away.We know this by now. It has been the case since 2008 when the Hawks inexplicably took the Celtics to seven games in the first round of the playoffs. For whatever reason, whether it be motivation or something else, Boston just doesn’t blow out very many teams. Instead, they grind things out, lose a few games that they shouldn’t lose, and...
NBA All-Star voting is underway, and the Celtics are finally playing like a team that has a couple of All-Stars on its roster.
Despite a hiccup on Wednesday night against the New Orleans Hornets, the C’s appear to be pulling things together, thanks in large part to their current “Big Three” of Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce.
While Avery Bradley‘s return to the...
