Earlier today, Loy posted about Rondo's fantastic Asian trip. Looking at that, I started to thinking about the off-season and how different some players are. Larry Bird was also one of the hardest working players in league history. When a season ended, Larry was right back out on the court working on his game, especially if the team missed out on the championship. He worked tirelessly on his conditioning, on his shooting, and on every facet of his game. He also tried to add a new wr...

Keyon Dooling wants to pursue other interests

The Celtics just announced they have waived Keyon Dooling, but this sounds like it was Keyon’s decision: “Keyon has decided that he has given the NBA 12 good years and that it’s time to pursue other interests and spend more time with his family,” said Dooling’s representative Kenge Stevenson. “He will never forget his time in Boston with the Celtics.” “We’ll miss...

Dooling’s agent shoots down Miami rumor… sorta

The agent for Keyon Dooling is refuting reports that his client is interested in joining the Miami Heat (courtesy ESPN Boston’s Chris Forsberg): “He’s comfortable with where he is right now,” Stevenson said Saturday. “It was his decision to step away.” Not the strongest denial in the world, but good enough for me. Keyon might take the next few months off and gauge interest...

Micah Downs latest addition to Celtics camp roster

Gary Washburn summed up all the pertinent information quite nicely.  File this one under “when 140 characters really are enough”.  In a roster with more swingmen than a baseball team, it would come as shock if Downs made the cut for the final 15, but best of luck to him.
