36-year old shooting guard Ray Allen is really playing at a high level for the Celtics so far this year.  He has played in 11 games (all starts) for the Celtics so far this year and he is averaging 35.5 minutes, 16.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.  Allen is shooting 51.3% from the floor and he has connected on 31 of 54 (57.4%) shots from three point range so far this year.  Allen has kept himself in great shape over the years and he is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Ricky Davis has a warm spot in his heart for the Boston Celtics

The city of Boston, Massachusetts has never been the easiest city to call home for professional athletes. Between the expectations set by fans, the media, and the professional sports organizations they play for, there is a high level of pressure for athletes to perform well when the word “Boston” is stitched onto the front of [...]

Ray Allen Refuses To Complain About Lack Of Touches

Boston Celtics Danny Ainge Sees Missing Piece Of The Puzzle During Loss To Thunder

Watching the Celtics lose to OKC left quite the impression with me. The Celtics for years had been the class of the East, but in the midst of their five game losing streak the evident fact is they are missing something. What they are missing was on full display during this Thunder game in the forms of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. These men dominated the game on the offensive...

Your Morning Dump... Where it's KG's fault

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Garnett, the linchpin of one of the best defensive teams in NBA history over the past four seasons, can't get off the ground, and it&...

Poll: Will Big Baby Get a "Welcome Back" Video When the Celtics Play the Magic on Monday?

On Monday January 23rd, Glen "Big Baby" Davis will make his return to Boston for the first time since being traded to the Magic. But will Baby's return garner a tribute video, similar to the "Welcome Back Perk" piece that graced the TD Garden Jumbotron at the Martin Luther King day match between Oklahoma City and Boston? Davis was not a starter like Perkins...

Massachusetts' Maria Menounos Tebows Her Golden Globes? Unacceptable

Listen Maria Menounos, your Boston Celtics fandom has been proven but no self-respecting person from Medford (MA) can justify her actions at the Golden Globes. Showing up in a dress that is more akin to the Broncos' orange than anything from New England, Menounos (who is totally hot of course) took time on the red carpet to Tebow. The **** is that Maria? That's unacceptable...
