After one of the most exciting playoff basketball games I have ever seen, the Sixers are looking to take the lead in this heated rivalry.  The Sixers were able to fend off the Boston Celtics in game four, 92-83.

Game five will be at the TD Bank Garden in Boston, and it will be no easy task for the Sixers. Boston will throw their absolute best at Philadelphia tonight, the Sixers have keep their game.  Game 5 will be exciting, here is a few things to look for:

  • Rajon Rondo-  Rondo has been a dynamic player all series long, as he seems to find every open man, every time.  The Sixers need to take away the passing lanes in hope of slowing him down.
  • Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce- Garnett had a strong first three games, but Lavoy Allen really bothered him on Friday night.  Pierce has taken charge of this series, as he is playing like the proven veteran that he is.  Both Pierce and Garnett are leading the charge for Boston, they will have to play a big factor in game 5 for the Celtics.
  • Andre Iguodala- Iguodala was absolutely clutch on Friday night.  Iggy was hitting shots late, and his defensive role was unmatchable.  Iguodala isn't necessarily loved in the Philadelphia fan base, but I tell you one thing, he is beginning to earn respect.
  • Sixers Bench- Lou Williams came off the bench Friday night, and helped the Sixers get closer to tying the game.  Doug Collins is playing match-ups with Allen and Garnett, when substitutions are made, the bench needs to step up.

If the Sixers can hit some shots early, keep the game close up until the end, they could take a series lead.  The game is set to begin at 7:00pm on TNT and 97.5 the Fanatic. #ShowYaLuv
