For the first time in team history, it seems the Boston Celtics will have two legitimate candidates for NBA Sixth Man of the Year in Jason Terry (a former winner) and Jeff Green. Both will come off the bench, both will get plenty of minutes, and both will seemingly get some votes. But who has the upper hand in this battle? Jeff Green looks like he will have a career year. Hes shooting the ball extremely well, hes aggressive in heading to the basket, and he'll play both the 3 and the 4 this year. But does he have the upper hand against Terry? I am inclined to say no. Jason Terry is the safer bet to win Sixth Man of the Year, due to the high probability that he will average more points per game than Green (which is usually the main criteria for voters), will probably have more big moments (which will garner him more media coverage), and already having the history of already winning Sixth Man of the year. It'll be very interesting to see how the season plays out for these two, and if ...
