Back in February when half of the Celtics roster had been sidelined with injuries, the Celtics picked up former CBA player Terrence Williams. The swingman was first acquired on a 10-day contract and was later signed for the remainder of the season after showing he could potentially be a solid rotation guard in Boston's suddenly depleted rotation. Before joining the Celtics, Williams was coming off of an impressive season in the Chinese Basketball Association, averaging 18 points, 3 boards, and 4 dimes per game. Obviously those numbers wouldn't hold up when joining a team mid-season and becoming a 3rd string guard, but T-Will was always ready when his number was called. During the 2nd half of the season and into the postseason Williams showed his ability to run the Celtics offense and distribute the ball effectively - something the Celtics were in desperate need of after the injury to #9.
