The Celtics have proudly won two in a row. Tonight's game was a kind of competitive first half followed by a boring second half. The Celtics overcame a first quarter deficit with a huge second quarter where they outscored Sacramento 37-14. After that, they didn't even have to try. Now just one more win and they'll be even at 23-23. Tonight's USOTN is a simple one. It takes no basketball knowledge but I still found it interesting. In tonight's game, despite winning by 18, the Celtics were outscored in three out of four quarters. Just look at the stats. The Kings outscored the Celtics in the first quarter 24-22, in the third quarter 22-21, and in the fourth quarter 21-19. It's not like the Celtics were getting blown out or anything, but we still must be thankful that there are second quarters in NBA games. Tonight Paul Pierce had another nice game, leading the Celtics with 16 points. Following him was KG with 13, and Green/Terry with 12. The Celtics were out rebounded in tonight's game, 39-38. Boston also shot 53.4% from the field to Sacramento's 39.2%. At this point in time, I think that panic time is officially over.

Two games into the 'Post-Rondo' era, the Celtics have been able to thrive off of ball movement and a balanced offensive attack. The Loss of A Star: The Aftermath of the Rondo Injury

A torn ACL is a death sentence to any athlete. When a star in the league suffers that gruesome injury, all you can do is feel for them. It is a helpless feeling being that player, especially when they believe it is only a minor injury. That was the case for Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo, after he thought he had only hyperextended his knee during Boston’s double overtime loss...

Celtics win third in a row after losing Sullinger

Some of the Celtics have voiced their opinion on how Doc's new philosophy is a welcome change from one person pounding the ball for 4 or 5 seconds.  That way they get to play the same kind of mindless AAU inspired brand of basketball as the Miami Heat.  The only difference between the two is that the Heat have a dynamic player in LeBron James and Paul Pierce can no longer...

The Lakers and Celtics will always be linked to each other, whether it’s fitting or not. This season, there have been just as many comparisons, as both teams drew attention for putting up horrid starts despite big-name casts. The landscape has changed over recent days, though. While the Celtics at first seemed to be banding together and making a run in the Eastern Conference with...
