2012 Season SummaryThe Buffalo Bills had a disappointing 2012 season. Hell, let's be honest, Buffalo has been disappointing since the start of this century. Since 2000 they are a combined 82-126 with only one winning season (2004 they had a 9-7 record), and no playoff appearances since 1999.At the start of the 2012 season expectations were high. Buffalo improved from a dastardly 4-12 2010 record to a 6-10 2011 record.  Instead of moving forward however, the team remained stagnant and finished again at 6-10 in 2012.Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick continued to have the same troubles as the season before, being unable to create victories from close games. Their were four losses that were decided by seven points or less. His ineffectiveness to take the team further had led to him being released by the Bills just last week.Offensively, the Bills ranked 21st in points and 19th in overall yards.  While the defense didn't fair much better.  Ranking 26th and 22nd in points and yards giv...

How Does Manny Lawson Fit into the Buffalo Bills Defense?

The Bills made their first splash (any time you sign a player in free agency, it’s always a SPLASH) of the 2013 NFL offseason by bringing in LB Manny Lawson, leaving the Buffalo Bills Tank Tyler away from having each member of the 2005 NC State Defensive line under contract at some point or another. Speaking of which, I wonder if Mario Williams had anything to do with signing....

Are the Buffalo Bills Winning or Losing Free Agency?

The NFL’s offseason has grown in magnitude to the point where it is an event bigger than most (every?) other sports’ regular season. Do you know who leads the NHL in goals? Unless you’re reading this from Canada, probably not. But we all know that the 34th receiver in yards last year just signed with the Dolphins. The NFL has pulled off this wonderful magic trick that allows...

Manny Lawson signed with Buffalo Bills, was not aware of how bad they have been

Manny Lawson did not exactly do his research before signing with the Buffalo Bills. The former first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers signed a four-year, $12 million deal with the Bills on Wednesday. He made it pretty clear at his press conference that his decision to sign really was about the money. How do we know? He said he had no idea the Bills have gone 13 straight seasons...

Manny Lawson Didn’t Know What He’s Getting Himself Into In Buffalo

It’s not as though linebacker Manny Lawson hasn’t experienced his share of losing in his NFL career. After being drafted in the first round by the 49ers in 2006 draft, he spent five less-than-triumphant seasons in San Francisco before departing just as Jim Harbaugh arrived to turn the franchise back into a contender. He has, however, spent the last two years in Cincinnati, a...

NSFW MUST WATCH: Crazy Naked Guy Lunges Into Moving Car In Buffalo

Judging by this video, people in Buffalo took the news of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s release pretty hard. The above video was posted to YouTube yesterday and might be the funniest ‘naked guy running into traffic’ video we’ve ever seen. According to the uploader: He’s completely naked and likely had a blood test after this that showed his body was riddled with drugs at the time...

Patriots Sign Former Bills WR Donald Jones

The New England Patriots after starting slowly like they always do are now heating up in the free agent market and have inked former Buffalo Bills WR Donald Jones to a contract.  Jones was a restricted free agent but Buffalo failed to tender him so New England will not lose a draft pick for him. Jones is 25 years old, 6’ and 208 lbs and was undrafted out of Youngstown State...

Raiders considering giving Vince Young a workout?

Vince Young has been hoping to make his way back to the NFL. Some might find this hilarious because when we last saw him he was fat, broke and out of a job after embarrassingly being beaten on the Bills depth chart by Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tarvaris Jackson. If you thought Young was done as an NFL quarterback, you clearly don’t know the Raiders. Oakland is reportedly considering...

Buffalo Bills Great Andre Reed Interview

Andre Reed played for Buffalo Bills from 1985 to 1999. He was on the team that went to four straight Super Bowls. Reed along with Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Bruce Smith made Buffalo a team to be feared in the NFL. Reed made it to the Pro Bowl seven times and got inducted into the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame. In his career Andre has a total of 87 touchdowns with 951 receptions...

Ryan Fitzpatrick prepared to 'swallow my pride,' take backup role

A year and a half ago, the Buffalo Bills handed Ryan Fitzpatrick a big ol' contract extension, giving him the keys to take the wheel and fully own the offense.Early in the 2013 offseason, Fitzpatrick would just be happy for a team to let him in the back seat. The potential the Bills thought they had in the journeyman signal-caller never materialized, and Buffalo's new regime...

What’s wrong with us that we’re so unamused?

Photo property of Getty Images The incredible outcry from every direction about the Buffalo Bills’ re-signing of Leodis McKelvin is deafening. It’s also entirely expected, as any move this team had made with him would have been. They can’t win; people find it in themselves to demolish them no matter what they may do. They bring back McKelvin for four years but give...
