My Sports Rumors:
Dallas Cowboys beat writer Brandon George had a live chat today on the Dallas Morning News and one of the things talked about was the teams running back situation. George was asked what he thinks will happen with DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones, when Jones returns from his ankle injury. It’s a valid question as Murray has proven he can also handle the load.
Your opinion when Felix Jones comes back, we still use Murray as starter and Jones as third down back?
I believe the Cowboys will still start Felix Jones when he returns from his left high ankle injury. However, Murray will likely get about as many carries as Jones does in games. That would be my best guess. The way Murray has run the ball the last two games, you have to continue to give him his share of carries until he proves otherwise. Three keys to Seahawks victory
1. Contain DeMarco Murray. The Seahawks are allowing a league-low 3.2 yards per carry this season, but Murray is a rookie who is just two weeks removed from a 253-yard rushing performance against St. Louis. That's the highest single-game total by any player in the league this season. In fact, it's the highest by a lot. Chicago's Matt Forte...
