IRVING – The Cowboys will be without fullback Tony Fiammetta for a second-straight game when they host the Dolphins on Thursday afternoon.
Fiammetta (illness) was one of four players the Cowboys ruled out Wednesday. The others were receiver Miles Austin (hamstring), cornerback Mike Jenkins (hamstring) and backup quarterback Jon Kitna (back).
Safety Gerald Sensabaugh (foot), running back Felix Jones (ankle) and right guard Kyle Kosier (foot) are questionable.
Without Fiammetta, DeMarco Murray managed only 2.9 yards per carry in the overtime win at Washington on Sunday. It was the lowest average for the rookie in the five games he’s been the Cowboys’ workhorse back.
Expect more of the same on Thanksgiving Day. It hurts Dallas that Fiammetta won’t be available against Miami, which ranks seventh in the league in rush defense, yielding 98.7 yards per game.
