Via Larry Brown Sports:
Darrelle Revis is not a guy who holds back on his opinions, but it was still shocking to hear him refer to Bill Belichick as a “jerk” during a word association game.
The Jets All-Pro cornerback was playing a word association game called “Rapid Fire” on SportsCenter when Bill Belichick’s name came up.
Revis’ one word to describe the Patriots coach was “jerk.”
When asked to elaborate on the description, Revis said it was for “some of the comments he says about the Jets.”
Rob Gronkowski, who was sitting next to Revis and also participating in the game, looked stunned when Revis said the word. But even the Patriots tight end couldn’t go through the game without making a notable statement.
When asked to describe Tim Tebow, Gronk said “starting quarterback for the Jets,” and then burst out in laughter.
Revis shrugged off the Tebow response and almost seemed to agree with Gronkowski. Revis isn’t the first person to call Bill Belichick a jerk, but most people just wouldn’t be as brazen to say it publicly.
