PLAYERS: Larry Allen
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
ARLINGTON -- Three former Dallas Cowboys will be officially hailed as all-time greats on Sunday with their induction into the team's hallowed Ring of Honor. For only one -- Drew Pearson -- the move has a more far-reaching effect, because he helped the Cowboys become America's Team. Certainly, the moment is starting to sink in for offensive lineman Larry Allen, an 11-time time Pro Bowler, three-time Super Bowl champion and likely shoo-in to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in February. "It's great," Allen said. "The years I have been away from the game, I have been traveling. I've been to Rome and France and seeing all the statues and monuments. [Going into the Ring of honor] will be like that for me."

Bryant's sideline behavior becoming distraction

With all the noise surrounding Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, can you imagine what it will be like if he ever accomplishes something. If Bryant had been drafted by, say, the Seattle Seahawks, no one would be writing national columns about his sideline decorum. Playing for the Cowboys provides some players with a bigger stage than they deserve. Bryant was supposed to be...

Cowboys to add Pearson, Allen, Haley to Ring of Honor

The Dallas Cowboys will add wide receiver Drew Pearson, guard Larry Allen and defensive end Charles Haley to the team's famed Ring of Honor during Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Pearson spent 11 seasons with the Cowboys and reeled in a Hail Mary from quarterback Roger Staubach during the Minnesota Vikings in a 1975 playoff game. Allen is an 11-time Pro Bowl...

From the receivers dropping passes, to the secondary getting burned, to the front end getting gashed with the Philadelphia Eagles running game between Michael Vick and Lesean Mccoy. All you see is people...

How well does Dez know Cowboys playbook?

Playing a pickup game of football in the street and battling through four quarters in the NFL have very few similarities. In the NFL, there are no Buicks to run past and no maple trees marking where to break off a route. As Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James said Wednesday, the NFL is "big boy football." And in "big boy football" wide receivers can'...
