Wow. On Tuesday, Jerome Harrison was supposed to be shipped to Philadelphia in a deal that would have sent Ronnie Brown to the Lions. Yesterday we leanred that the trade fell through because Harrison failed a physical. Today, we know the specifics.

Harrison has been diagnosed with a brain tumor according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. According to Schefter, the trade, in effect, may end up saving Harrison's life. Had he not been dealt, he wouldn't have had a physical and he it may have gone undetected. Harrison is not expected to play again this season, but supposedly the long term prognosis appears positive.

It's crazy that a Jahvid Best head injury (concussion) is responsible for his teammates head injury being detected.

Positive thoughts flowing to Jerome Harrison.
