It looks like Terrell Owens is ready to hit retirement ... finally. Wait, he's not already retired? Despite not playing a single down in the NFL since his time with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, Owens told CBSSports.com this week that, if he does not sign with a team this season, he's going to hang it up. He played with the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and Bengals during his 16-year career. Owens tried to find a team over the last three years to take his services to, but no doors have been opened. He still has a desire to play, but at 39, it looks like he is finally coming to grips with reality....

Terrell Owens has not appeared in a regular season NFL game since he was with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010. Probably time to start working on that retirement speech now. T.O. physically still can play in the NFL, his work ethic has never been in question, but teams just prefer younger quieter players they can mold.
