Pitt Basketball Targeting RMU Transfer

PITTSBURGH — The Pitt Panthers have targeted numerous players from across the country through the transfer portal, even those in Allegheny County. Robert Morris guard Kam Woods has received interest from a number of schools, including Pitt, according to The Portal Report .

Robert Morris guard Kam Woods bounced back with a strong performance on Thursday night against Delaware, earning the “hooper of the night” honors. Woods, in 39 minutes, finished with 22 points on 9-for-25 shooting, along with seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals in the narrow loss to the Fightin’ Blue Hens on the road.

Yesterday Judge John Preston Bailey in West Virginia issued a Temporary Restraining Order against the NCAA, which will temporarily make players who are not eligible to play under current NCAA Transfer Rules, able to play during the length of the Restraining Order, which is a period of 14 days.
