After Joe Gibbs Racing filed a lawsuit against former director Chris Gabehart, alleging a “brazen scheme” that resulted in $8 million in damages, the fallout has sent ripples through the NASCAR garage.
NASCAR has continually leaned more towards road course racing in recent years, particularly since the introduction of the Next Gen cars in 2022. There are various reasons for it to do so.
“Well, you know, it looks like NASCAR is going to change the rules next year to where we’re like 740, 750,” Brad Keselowski said a few days back about the Next Gen’s power.
