Dallas Stars recall Kyle Capobianco, activate Oskar Back

The Dallas Stars announced today that defenseman Kyle Capobianco has been recalled from the team’s AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars. In addition, the club also announced that forward Oskar Bäck has been activated off of injured reserve, putting him in position to potentially make his 2025-26 debut tonight in Nashville.

Stars Reassign Kyle Capobianco

The Stars assigned defenseman Kyle Capobianco to AHL Texas today, according to the minor league’s transactions log. Dallas recalled Capobianco, 27, from Texas last weekend as extra injury insurance while the team traveled to Finland for their Global Series contests against the Panthers.
