The Dallas Stars are wasting no time in retaining a pair of defensemen who provide solid organizational depth, as the team announced on Wednesday that it has agreed to terms on two-year contract extensions with Kyle Capobianco and Luke Krys.
According to a team announcement, the Dallas Stars have signed defensemen Kyle Capobianco and Luke Krys to two-year extensions. Capobiano’s will be a one-way contract with an $850K salary in the first year of the deal, and $900K in the second.
The Stars activated defenseman Luke Krys from season-opening injured reserve on Sunday and subsequently reassigned him to the AHL’s Texas Stars, according to the minor league’s transaction log.
