Aston Villa fullback Matty Cash credits manager Unai Emery for his two-goal performance in victory at Burnley.

Cash admits he's happy playing in an attacking position.

I'm delighted obviously firstly to get the three points," Cash told Villa TV. I think this is a really tough place to come. The manager obviously spoke before the game and gave us a game plan and I think it's crazy because whatever the manager says, he knows how the game is going to go before and he does it all the time.

He's incredible and we've done the game plan today. It was to sit in a low block, let them have the ball, and then catch him on the counter attack. Obviously today I was playing in a different position to what I'm not what I'm used to, and I'm buzzing with a brace."

Cash added: I'm just like I'm delighted because I know I can finish and I get in them positions quite often. In training I'm usually quite good and obviously the first game I missed a good chance. I mean it was quite a difficult chance but it sort of stayed with me a little bit, and when I get in them positions I know I can do it, so I just try and stay composed.

"Yesterday I got told and I like playing advanced because I know I can sort of create and do things, just try and use my legs really and get in and around it and try and support the forward play. I'll play anywhere for this club, if he [Emery] tells me to play left-back like the last 10 minutes I'm more than happy to do.

I think I want to score and create as much as I can because as I said I think I can do it and it's as a modern day full-back. That's how you sort of get noticed by doing it and I want to help the team as much as possible, but then again I know how important it is to do the other side of the game as well.

Sometimes you're playing the back three where I'm a bit lower and then sometimes like today I'm going to be higher and that's what I've gone over with the manager.

As I said I'm delighted with the brace, but I'm also delighted that the fact that we've bounced back and won three games in a row. After the Newcastle game we was all a bit low, which is normal, so we're delighted."
