Via Cosby Sweaters:

The mascots for Louisville, Ky., high school basketball teams Manual High and Male High brawled on the court during a meeting between the two schools on Friday. The two — Manual’s Ram and Male’s Bulldog — were supposed to engage in a friendly “duel” at midcourt during a break in the action, but it turned serious when the Ram tried to drop-kick the Bulldog.

The packed gym roared as the two duked it out on the floor before the game eventually resumed, but students of each respective school reportedly were in involved in fights in the parking lot after the game.

Fights in school and in parking lots — isn’t that the true spirit of high school?

  • So how many people are worried about the future? After watching this video and hearing the cheering and lack of breaking up the fight from teachers, refs, and parents. Just reminds me how messed up this country really is today. I guess we are all lucky the mascot didn't have a gun.
  • It shows how messed up Louisville is.
