Alex Rodriguez can’t seem to get himself into the news involving baseball. But he is doing a fantabulous job with alleged illegal activity. We are well versed in A-Rod’s alleged use of PEDs from a Miami-based medical clinic, and his alleged hiring of an individual to purchase records of his said involvement. Now we have word that the New York Yankees injured third baseman is once again being linked to a high-stakes poker group.
This group was investigated by the feds back in 2011, and A-Rod was allegedly involved with them at that time as well. Of course, the Yankees told him to stay away from such games as far back as 2005.
Other celebrities linked to the group are Matt Damon, Tobey Maguire, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The alleged ringleader of the group is Molly Bloom, sister to former Olympic skier, Jeremy Bloom. She is accused of laundering nearly $50 million.
