We’ve got a new “Jared” to look up to for health inspiration — but he still weighs in well over 300 lbs.
Raiders offensive tackle Jared Veldheer not only looks like he could double as the Incredible Hulk, he looks like he could eat Subway’s Jared Fogle as if he were a 6-inch BMT.
Veldheer, according to CBS Sports by way of Yahoo! Sports, put on just four pounds of muscle this offseason — going from 321 lbs. to 325 lbs., after getting drafted at 301 pounds in 2010. The big fella credits Nutrilite for their “perfect pack,” which allows him to make sure he gets “all my vitamins, minerals, and oils in #NSFcertified,” according to a recent tweet.
Check out his “before” photo immediately below and see what he looks like as of March 25 below that.

Jason La Canfora is reporting that the Oakland Raiders will part ways with DT Tommy Kelly on Wednesday.
La Canfora expects Kelly to draw interest “pretty quickly.”
Releasing Kelly will free up $4.8 million in cap space for the Raiders. He signed a seven-year deal worth $50.125 million back in 2008, but has two years remaining on that contract. Kelly would have made $6...

Carson Palmer is the epitome of a dollarnaire, having been so wise with his NFL money, that Palmer will walk away from any situation that he doesn’t feel is prudent to his success.
Palmer who is due $13 million from the Raiders this season was simply asked to take a $3 million pay cut, that still would have ensured a base salary of $10 million.
Most pundits would have expected...
Carson Palmer to the Cardinals isnt a new idea. The possibility that the Raiders might release him to save money was floated early in the offseason. So was the possibility the Cards might pursue him if Kevin Kolb didnt agree to give back a lot of that money Arizona gambled and lost on him.
But following a report that Palmer is unlikely to restructure his contract with Oakland, and...
The Oakland Raiders have released defensive tackle Tommy Kelly, cutting ties with their longest-tenured position player on the roster.
The move announced Wednesday is just the latest by the team to distance itself from the Al Davis era.
General manager Reggie McKenzie has already released defensive back Michael Huff and receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey this offseason. Punter Shane...
With quarterback Carson Palmer “highly unlikely” to accept a
pay cut from the Oakland Raiders – according to Adam Schefter of ESPN – it looks
more likely that the team will elect to part ways with the veteran. If that
happens, the Arizona Cardinals could be one of the teams to express interest in
Palmer, according to Pro Football Talk.
Interesting: now "highly unlikely...
I didn't think the Ravens could land a high-quality veteran safety like Michael Huff for a 3-year $6 million deal, seeing as Huff was due a $4 million signing bonus and a $4 million salary for 2013 from the Oakland Raiders.
But somehow Ozzie pulled it off.
Michael Huff, FS/CB, age 30, 6-1, 208, 6th year out of Texas, drafted in...
