Sharpshooting G-League veteran Ethan Thompson has inked a training camp deal with the Miami Heat, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. The Heat signed Thompson on Wednesday after their G-League affiliate, the Sioux Falls SkyForce, acquired the 6-4 guard right from the Osceola Magic, Orlando‘s minor league affiliate.
Ethan Thompson spent the 2024-25 season playing for the Osceola Magic in the G League. He finished the year with averages of 18.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 40.2% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point range in 31 games (30 starts).
