Reaching the playoffs should be Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert‘s goal.

He hasn’t done that in two seasons but came close to clinching a postseason spot last year.

A draw with the Las Vegas Raiders was all they needed.

However, the Raiders edged them to end their season.

Despite falling short of the AFC playoffs, the former Oregon standout has never failed to dazzle.

In his rookie season, he completed 66.6 percent of his passes for 4,336 yards and 31 touchdowns.

He also added five rushing touchdowns from 234 yards.

Last year, he raised his game with 5,014 passing yards, 302 rushing yards, and 41 total touchdowns (38 passing, three rushing).

He was also the 2020 Offensive Rookie of the Year and became the first quarterback to record 30 touchdown passes in each of his first two seasons.

Herbert’s arm strength does help him perform at a high level.

However, that’s only part of the equation because you should also consider his mental fortitude.
