Former Steelers WR Martavis Bryant signs with Cowboys

Bryant was only with the Steelers for three seasons, but prior to his year-long suspension in 2016, he was as dynamic as they come. Brynat averaged a whopping 21 yards per reception as a rookie in 2014, adding on eight touchdowns as vertical threat that teams covet.

Unfortunately, Bryant couldn't get things together off the field, and was suspended indefinitely in 2018 by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell following a string of failed drug tests based on marijuana usage. 

The NFL has since become much more relaxed on their stance when it comes to marijuana, hence the reinstatmenet of Bryant, and subsequent signing by the Dallas Cowboys. 

And while Bryant hasn't taken a NFL snap in over half a decade, the 31-year-old has still been active, playing with multiple teams in the CFL and most recently with the Vegas Vipers in the XFL last spring. 

So we'll see how Bryant does. He first has to prove he's worth even being active on gameday, much less capable of allocating snaps and winning enough to earn targets. But for a player that was quite literally banned from the NFL...

I would say this is a win.
