“This is 40″ is the latest creation from Judd Apatow, and it is essentially the sequel to “Knocked Up.”  The newest installment stars Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann (Apatow’s wife), and Megan Fox, among others. The Flyers making cameos in this movie are Scott Hartnell, Ian Laperriere, Matt Carle and James Van Riemsdyk.  Only thing is, Carle and Van Riemsdyk are no longer on the Flyers and Laperriere is now retired.  Carle signed as a free agent with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Van Riemsdyk was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs this past summer.  A lot has changed for the Flyers since this scene was filmed, but it doesn’t make it any less entertaining.Laperriere was recommended for the role by a Flyers official, and Apatow was thrilled with the idea, because he wanted the scene to be as real as possible.  Laperriere can say one thing that nobody else can; that Megan Fox wore his teeth in a movie.  One for the record books. This is 40 hits theaters on December 21st.H/T: Puck Daddy Blog
