Ex-Canuck defenceman Akito Hirose signs one-year deal in Germany

Akito Hirose is heading overseas. Following the expiration of his contract with the Vancouver Canucks organization this summer, the 26-year-old defenceman has signed a one-year deal with the Fischtown Pinguins in Germany’s Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
