When the Oilers drafted Connor Clattenburg, I have to admit I was surprised. Clattenburg had just finished his second draft-eligible year and his results hadn’t been all that noticeable in those two years.

All players being sent home now were expected to be heading home early as very young junior players. Forwards William Nicholl, Connor Clattenburg, Dylan Wakely, and goalie Nathan Day were sent down to their respective CHL teams.
