The Mariners went on a three game road series versus the Reading Royals starting Wednesday night at Santander Arena. The Mariners won 4-3 in overtime.  After a scoreless opening period, the teams exchanged goals in the second.

On December 30th, 2024, the Savannah Ghost Pirates completed a three-team trade with the Idaho Steelheads and Maine Mariners. The trade reads as follows: Savannah trades Defenseman Pito Walton to the Idaho Steelheads for forward Lynden McCallum.

ECHL: Idaho Steelheads Re-sign Pair of Defenseman

The Idaho Steelheads have announced that they have re-signed 6’4″ defenseman Reece Harsch and 6’1″ defenseman Lynden McCallum for the 2024-25 season. Harsch’s Junior Career Reece Harsch started his junior career in the WHL during the 2015-16 season.
