Gravel was a healthy scratch for the matchup but offered emergency depth for defenseman Nicolas Hague, who is out day-to-day with an upper-body injury per NHL.com’s Brooks Bratten.

Nashville’s key trade acquisition missed the first few weeks of the season with an upper-body injury and now it appears he’ll be out for a while once again.
