Wild sign Lorenz, Dexheimer to entry-level contracts

The Minnesota Wild have made moves to add prospects from the collegiate ranks to their pipeline on Wednesday. The team announced that it has signed forward Rieger Lorenz to a two-year, entry-level contract and defenseman Ben Dexheimer to a one-year, entry level contract.

The Wild have been busy locking up draft picks and free agents out of the college ranks over the past few days. That’s expected to continue as they’re closing in on an entry-level pact with 2022 second-rounder Rieger Lorenz, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
